The England manager has chosen to retain the same Three Lions selection that triumphed against Andorra and delivered an impressive display in Serbia during the previous international break, finding no place for Jude Bellingham and the Manchester City attacker in his group for the forthcoming exhibition match against Wales and the World Cup qualifier in Latvia.

Although Foden pushing for a recall after regaining his top condition at Manchester City, and Jude Bellingham having returned for his Spanish club following a surgical procedure, the national team manager has opted not to selecting two of the nation's most prominent attacking talents. Bellingham has been in the starting lineup just a single time for his club since his return.

Tuchel has found space for the Arsenal winger, who is fully recovered and has been restored in place of his unavailable Arsenal teammate the sidelined player. Jack Grealish has not received a return to the squad.

Tuchel highlighted the energy in the previous selection and appears determined to maintaining the vibe. Tino Livramento, who featured at the defensive flank in the convincing victory in Serbia, has been ruled out due to a knee injury. The manager has not called up a like-for-like substitute for the Newcastle player but has included John Stones, who had to withdraw last month. He has discussed the centre-back's significance for England and has suggested deploying him in the middle of the park.

No spot has been found for the midfielder, who was selected last month but pulled out injured and was substituted by the Milan player.

The manager stated: “A mere three weeks after the previous gathering and the last win, the latest display, so the question was why not select the identical squad in because they set the standard. Now it is about building routines out of it. We have regrettably a couple of fitness issues at the moment with Tino and Noni and we welcome of course the Arsenal forward in to replace Noni. Jarell Quansah was a late call-up last time; he will remain with the squad.”
