Amazing $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Online Gaming Game Master's Fantasy

After a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection has returned for a limited time available through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software over the years, the entire collection carries a value of over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The big draw is definitely permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
